A voyage to see how star patterns change over millions of years is followed by a journey to the planets of other stars, and a look at the possibility of time travel.

This takes us to Italy, where a young Albert Einstein first wondered what it would be like to ride on a beam of light.

  • awesomes!

  • This kind of thing is the only reason I would want to be immortal. To see dreams of this age be realized a thousand years from now. So different will mankind be, that we would truly be aliens in their age.

  • @Riggro I'm with you! or at least to the rank of understanding most clearly what God is

  • I'm all up to promote Carl Sagan to the rank of God.... who's with me?

  • @Kabukita

You should see the movie that was based on the novel "Contact"

anything which is transverse or has a transverse component to the direction in which u are travelling, will appear to be slanted. the same is the case with rain droplets wen u see them from a moving car. the only difference between rain droplets falling on the wind screen of a moving car and light is that light has a speed limit which cannot be exceeded. so relativistic effects have to be taken into consideration.

  • @vaibhav1P Ok, but WHY is this aberration happening? I mean space does not fold around you, because you're travelling fast. None of the relativistc effects I know of should cause this...
