  • @meviewer2

Thanks for your OPINION. Obviously millions of people disagree.

  • @Gimmeabreakman Most people who are big computer nerds or who know a lot about computers in general have the same opinion :/ especially IT techs, geek squad, etc. I feel like they are a good option for people who aren't into that kind of stuff, but not for people who are.

  • @mywingsareyours

Most people I know who don't have macs tell me, "I want one, but their too expensive."

Either way. Personally I'm not into the HARDWARE. I just want to be able to get something done.

  • That's not a laptop... that's a Mac. Different thing

  • @evolutionpr

    You're right. It's better.

  • @mywingsareyours i do tech stuff, and i use a mac

  • sUP?

  • Anyone who is criticize the Mac here obviously hasn't used an "up to date one" for a reasonable amount of time. And with Steve Jobs we are not just talking about the INVERTER of GUI Computing but also the reinvention of Computer Animated Cartoons, Smart phones, Smarter mp3 players and a number of other things that weren't well thought out by others to begin with. It's important to remember that everyone is "secondary" to the creator who set much of it in motion.

  • @Gimmeabreakman I have an iPod and an iPhone, so I can't say I am mac free. And for what they do, they do it well. Its mostly the rabid fanboys who piss me off. In many ways, a PC is superior, and in others, a Linux machine is the best. With the whole Jobs thing, he was a great business man, but its not like he invented half the stuff apple makes (and in fact, all the modern stuff wasn't his at all). He got the company started, but was kinda a dick boss, and took a lot of credit. Just my opinion

  • @Gimmeabreakman Personally, I would never own a mac computer. I just don't like the OS. I don't like most of the software, and I think that they are really dumbed down for computer illiterate people. That being said, they do have some major pluses. For one, they have easy to use video editing software (Win movie maker is stupid, and Adobe stuff is rellllllllly complicated) and for architects, there is some top notch rendering software. Also, for musicians, there is great music programs.

  • I have been using iPhone for a while and recently I got a Mac mini. I have to say that Mac mini gives me everything I want in a computer. It is the computer experience I have always wanted.

I also have Apple Tv which I am also very pleased with. It is fun to chill out with friends and have a good selection of radio stations to listen to. Also, I can cook dinner and easily watch a movie with a special someone.

    Overall, I like Apple products.

  • @meviewer2 Musicians, graphic designers, artists, film makers, and just about anyone in the creative field will disagree with your opinion.
