@basbas63 on my old Q6600@3.3Ghz i just had to slap Call Of Duty open and play it and it was already 55C..... hahahah =) tho i was running air cooling then, now im using Corsair H80 for this new one

@basbas63 these new intel cpus really rock, would not go back to my old q6600 ever..... dont mean it was not a good cpu but still, newer is always newer, anyway it had been 5years since i last time upgraded anything else than hdd's and gfx

I solved the CPU heat management issues I had one summer in two ways. First, I took of the side panel, and when the CPU was doing video encoding, I would use a paddle to manually cool it for the hour or so it took to finish the task. Then I got a room fan, put it on the desk, pointed it at the case and never had heating problems again. No money was spent, no components were touched. That's real oldschool CPU heat management.
