As a generalization, the thermite truthers are probably the least informed in the unevidenced theorys they try to sell. Thermite can only be ignited by a propane torch or a magnesium flare. Once ignited it basically turns into a liquid that burns at high enough temperatures to melt metals. The truther problem is that they can't explain how it was held long enough in a vertical application to melt thru hundreds of beams in a simultanious manner.
