Stan Wojenny/ Martial Law in Poland

Martial law in Poland (Polish: Stan wojenny w Polsce) refers to the period of time from December 13, 1981 to July 22, 1983 when the government of the People's Republic of Poland drastically restricted normal life in an attempt to crush the political opposition against the communist rule in the country. Thousands of people were arrested without charge and as many as 100 were killed.

... it was a time of hunger ... we had nothing to eat ... shelves at the shops were as empty as our stomachs , but the hunger for freedom and liberty out weight our fear of bullets and death - and so we stood firm and united against their tyranny and lies .

Wtedy obrońcy krzyża byli bohaterami narodowymi, po raz kolejny wywalczyli wolność, teraz są powodem do wstydu, oto dowód jak "poprawność" polityczna zmienia się wraz z tym co mówią w Telewizji. Nie od dziś wiadomo, że za komuny była cenzura i ludzie mądrzy, dziś wolność słowa, a ludzi głupi.
