Agricultural workers are harvesting broccoli in the Salinas Valley near Monterey, California. Workers follow a slowly moving tractor, cutting and tossing the broccoli heads to other workers on a platform who wrap it in plastic wrap for shipment. It goes straight from the field into the wrapped form you see in the grocery store. From the platform, it goes into boxes which are put onto trucks bound for large refrigerated warehouses in the Salinas Valley. From there, the boxes go to refrigerated trucks bound for grocery stores, or possibly yet another distribution center before the final truck to your local store.

One more thing I forgot to mention, how would you like to work in fields full of venom, that what this people have to work among, so much pesticide, the dirt is turn over so many times to be able to grow many vegetables through the harvest, the poor dirt is no longer dirt, but pesticide powder. There is school that are built around agricultural fields no wonder so many children are autistic inhaling all that pesticide
