You have some good info here but I'm kind of disappointed that you didn't inform people about low competition keywords. So half of them went home and tried to optimize high comp just to find out that they couldn't get much traffic from them. Well you could if you have many very strong back links but those people allready know about SEO so what is the point?

nattsurfaren - hmmm, very often I will mention for newbies to not go after high competition keywords, maybe in future ones I'll give a harder example and an easier one.
