When I was searching the web for instructions on how to build bass traps and acoustic panels for my home studio, I could not really find any useful and specific resources that were current, so I decided to make this video.
If you find it useful and interesting, please circulate it among your musician/producer friends.
Building your own panels is quick, easy, cheap and - let's not forget - a lot of fun!

Maybe you should put fabric on the back side as well. As far as I know fibre glass can be a health hazard.

@aceyage Once they're placed against the wall, there's no problem with the fibers escaping. If you want, however, you can buy some extra fabric and cover the back, too.

Fiberglass isn't going to do anything for bass. These panels will really only help with highs. You are going to need a thicker more dense material such as mineral-wool. They are about $11 for a 4ftx2ft panel and actually work with low frequencies.

@brainscatter00 That is not accurate. Fiberglass panels are the material of choice for bass traps. If you search for bass traps that are sold online, you will see they are made with fiberglass panels.
