I am very sorry for your lost, I just lost my best friend Jake a Brittney on10/04/11 15yrs of the most wonderful gift of love from God. I feel for you and it was and still is very hard for me. I miss my Jake so much, i cry almost everyday, he has his own web site under my name "Billy Amato" if you google it. I see Rex live 3 years 2005-2008? @4fota sorry for your loss.we lost our toller in may 2011.she was 6 yrs old.pretty sure it was addisons.it was the saddest day of my life.they are just the best pet someone could have.we now have another that is 10 months old.addisons is treatable so if you have a toller get to know about addisons it could save your dogs life.

@4fota Hi - When I said that I was going to get a new pup it was not met that it was going to be right away it really means once Jake gives me the ok. While still in grief, losing your best friend is a horrific experience no pet owner should ever have to face. It is one of the most unnatural things that can happen to a dog owner. It is something many pet owners fear at one time or another, but probably never expect to actually experience.Grieving is a process and that process takes time.
