CIA Covert Operations and U.S. Interventions Since World War II Part 11

This was a movie that was given to me at a lecture at the University of Arizona in 2003 by Frank Dorrel. I'm uploading it to YouTube in the hope that it will educate the public about the activities of their government.

Part 11
Part 11 deals with the hidden horrors of Panama. We don't even know how many civilians were killed in Panama. The United States claimed 250 civilians were killed but human rights monitors estimate around 4000 civilians were killed by bombings carried out by US forces in Panama. The mainstream media focused only on American lives loss and did not consider Panamanian lives to be of any consequences. 15 mass graves were later discovered. The US military was directly responsible for these mass graves.
The United States actions violated the Geneva Convention and international law prohibiting the invasion of a sovereign country. Yet the Washington Post, The LA Times, the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal all endorsed the invasion of Panama.
The media cooperated with the government because they are owned by Corporate America and they are an integral part of Corporate America. Ramsey Clark states that we are a plutocracy where wealth dominates government and money dominates politics.

Bush Sr. claimed we had to go to Panama to "restore democracy", but what the military did was to restore US government control of Panama. Panama is another example of how the US exercises a might makes right doctrine, a continuation of colonialism where we invade, take what we want and leave the people that live there to rot.
