Montgomery Teachers FCU was started in 1961 to serve educators and students in the Montgomery area. In the past 47 years, we have been serving members with low-cost financial services designed to help them enjoy a better way of life.

TRI-Rivers was formerly Montgomery Teachers Federal Credit Union, and our core base is teachers and support staff of schools in our seven county district. We have been in business for 50 years. If you live, work, worship or study in Montgomery, Autauga, Elmore, Macon, Butler, Lowndes or Crenshaw Counties you are eligible to be a member.

You can become a member with just $26. $1.00 is to open the account and $25 goes into your own account. There is no per check charge, low monthly service charge, debit card, payroll deduction and no fee for overdraft protection. We also offer Mastercards with your share draft account. First time teacher loans are available to tide you over until your first pay check. The maximum amount is $1,000 and payroll deducted for the term of your first year's contract. TRI-Rivers provides mobile banking where you can check your balance on your mobile phone, see an actual image of a check and transfer funds from one account to another.
