  • I wonder how it works on dry Pinyion pine?????????? I doubt it would split that??????????

  • @nevadasparky79 Sorry I can not answer your question , I have split tons of nasty knotty and stringy kinds of wood . It may take a few hits with the full force of the flywheel affect to cut right through the bad stuff. It only takes a few more seconds .

  • I WANT ONE

  • what holding you back from taking the plunge?

  • This is really fast! Our vertical splitter is slow as hell compared to this altough we don't need to split the logs down to such small pieces. I agree that a vertical is really a necessity if you have some 200-300+lb monster logs like we do. They're hard as hell just to roll much less lift.

  • I agree it is super fast and now a fun part of the wood processing ordeal . I will be going back to larger splits for my wood fired boiler . I also have the electric motor for inside the shop splitting , works nice , SUPER QUIET.

  • He is playing with his wood on youtube.

  • @nevadasparky79 very twisted wood, with knotts. its spelt pinyon. grows very slowly, trees 8-10" may take couple hundred years, and less than 40' tall. and used for fuel out west. soft wood.

probably a little hard to split being twisted though,, but still a soft wood. i will have to try the seeds, i never heard of them. your point is made sir. up hear,, 2 year old walnut burns like rock. i have to mix it with ashwood to get good heat.

  • @nevadasparky79 never heard of it. i will research it though. however,,,, anything PINE is go-pher soft wood, or it wouldnt be PINE.

  • @colbycous01 pinyion pine not ponderosa you jackass!!!!!!!!

  • @nevadasparky79 PINE???? are you goofy? thats garbage, we dont burn that soft ass go-pher sheet wood. up north we split/burn oak, maple, walnut, elm! pine he says,,, are you crazy? can it split cedar???
