Hey thanks for responding, I plan on using it with my music. Installing logic pro 9. It will be at my house mostly, but I'll take it with me when I have too. Also I plan on downloading windows 7 on it (I know alot of mac users will be upset but I have too) eventually I'll get final cut pro as well.

Personally, unless those extra 2 inches are a must-have for you, I'd go with the 15". It's the perfect size really, big enough to have a great display for photo/video manipulation but portable enough to take with you when you need to. Not to mention you'll probably find the SD card slot much more useful than the expansion slot, which is really meant for Pro users that have a specific use for it. If you can't think of a specific use for it, go with the 15". Thanks again for commenting!

Hey bro I'm going to get a new mbp here soon and I was wondering which one should I get the 15" or 17"? If I got the 15" my specs would be: 4gb ram, 500gb, 7200 rpm. Since the 17" comes with all but the 7200 rpm (I'd upgrade 5400 rpm on either computer) it basically comes down to the express card vs sd card, even though two extra inches is a plus. Im no professional so I don't know how much I'd make of the express card, but I was wondering what you thought?

Thanks for the comment! What sort of things do you plan on using it for? Also what kind of environment will it be in? (i.e. school, home, business - will it sit on your desk a lot of will you be carrying it around)

So man, about the seven hours of battery life it's triue? like applications like games, video editing, dvd movie, wherever.
Thx a lot.

The battery life is great but you'll only get 7 hours if you're doing light work (word processing, browsing the web, maybe a bit of photo editing and so on). Doing more advanced tasks like gaming or video editing will cut the battery down to ~5 hours from my experience, which is still pretty good.
