US soldiers in IRAQ were not sent there to protect our freedom..saddam hussein had no WMDS, he wasnt gonna invade the USA, or bring the devil to the USA like in the southpark episode...so why are we fighting in IRAQ, you tell me that?

I find it ironic: i was in the Marines and we were always told "never get into a fight with a civilian out in town, because no matter what happens you will lose." So basically what ya have is a bunch of civilians (Berkeley) attacking people who not only can they not fight back, but they have SWORN an oath to defend. I dont know. id probably have a bit more honor and at LEAST pick a fight with people who are allowed to defend themselves.

Mrs Lee, not only are your sons heroes but you are as well. I served 3 tours in iraq and afghanistan and your just as much as a hero for standing up for us as we are to defend you.

of course they were not legal, there was a revolution any legalities prior to that would no longer be in effect, did the french monarch have to hand over power legally to the people, no the people took it. but that desn't mean the french people didn't now rule france, it's is the same deal with afghanistan

No it's not because you implied the Afghan government was the Taliban, which it wasn't. I think we've beaten this dead horse enough.

i said the taliban was in charge, they ruled, they were the head honcho's, they were recognized as the central political and power of the country in which all foreign nations dealt with if they had to due to anything pertaining to afghanistan or it's resources such as oil and well opium to be honest.

You keep using the word "recognized." RECOGNIZED by WHO!? Recognized implies LEGITIMACY, and NO ONE "recognized" the Taliban for that.

look, i apologize for me calling you names or making fun of your screen name, that was rude and not like me at all. i will say this only once my dear, i do not believe in the 9-11 "truth" movement. i don't think it was a big evil plan by our government, i think they new it was going to happen, maybe let it happen for their own means, maybe not, but they didn't cause it, they didn't do it.

You don't "think" it was a "big, evil plan,...?" But you don't really know for certain, do you? Maybe the 'Truthers' are right? Their arguments ARE compelling. One thing IS for certain, the "official" 9-11 report is a complete LOAD OF CRAP! That is why those 25 former high ranking military officers have formed a group to question its validity.
