It's pretty easy, just set the style I want, click the connecting points, and route the pipes. If I need to move part of the run path, I edit the sketch and it all updates.
I cannot see how doing this "manually" with regular commands in ANY design software is easier. Perhaps you can describe what "everybody" is doing that is simpler than this?

I just downloaded Inventer2011 for my class,,, I was wondering is PDMS better? for piping cause im going for a Petrol/ Industrial A.A.S Degree?

I agree with you, my school use inventor for the technical drawing. It's great software, powerful actually for a lot of part i.e; a pretty much complex turbine for my final project, but I'm really sure this software really confused me in piping.
I am a piping designer - trust me, if it was 'easy' everybody would be doing it and if it was as easy as shown in this clip I would have more time to play golf! the software is great but there is so much more to it

You are absolutely right, piping design in inventor can be very much irritating and confusing. Sometimes i just want to go back to my previous company and to my job in Solid Edge. I don't want to say that Inventor is not good software , but piping ....
