I think they usually run with a driver in each, since even if they can run in multiple, it saves time coupling/uncoupling at the end of each run.

For me the sight and sound of not one but two maroon Westerns double heading is a joy to behold. Thanks for posting this wonderful piece Ryan.

Indeed a sight 'n sound of two Westerns working in pairs brings a joy to watch, the WSR put on a fine show with these hydraulics and never seen anything like it. Cheers again.

It was a sheer roar of a gala! Something we all did well out there. I too was pleased to see D1010 back in action. Another praise to the DEPG for restoring her.
