I have been yearning to hear this song for the last 40 years or so. Today my yearning has come to end. Thanks to You-tube and Kitaabic. There is one more - call it a song or quwalli. It goes like this - " Udher unke pao me mendi lagi hai idher meri jaa par bani hai. Can somebody find it and upload. Many many thanks.

Vipan ji i never knew that Lata ji and Waheeda ji are friends. Thanks for Ifo. But why not? Both are so simple and graceful women.I know that Waheeda ji, Shakila, Jabeen and Nanda are best friends for last so mamy years.They still meet . Asha Parekh and Sammi are very good friends. In fact Asha always tries to keep all yesteryear actresses together by inviting them at her house. With respect. Sarla.

Those three stars were of course at the summit. I also read that Lataji thought her voice fit Saira Bano's most closely, and that in miming songs Nutan came the closest to her vocals. So each star brought something special to Lataji's songs.I have sometimes wondered how she felt about singing for Nanda, who is related to her, and about Waheeda Rehman, who has remained a friend to her.
