This tutorial walks you through, step-by-step, how to reformat your hard drive and install a fresh copy of Windows XP. I'm using a Virtual Machine on VMWare Workstation in this tutorial and installing Windows XP Professional through an ISO file which VMWare uses for the CD Drive. Ii have a nec versa premium my hard drive is wiped i need to window xp on it from cd when i put it in shows a black screen please can you help mee

when I try to format my hdd pops up a warning that its not possible to format. I also have another folder that says recovery. that one its possible to format. I think my hdd is split in two. what should I do? thank you.
