the vast majority of these businesses disguised as churches do not care about helping or bettering the people or the community; the only growth they are interested in is growing the numbers in their bank account. There is a even a DVD out that is geared toward growing churches. Ringo4Life did a great expose on that scam.

Good video. I just want to say, however, that Christianity is not about bettering ourselves. It's about becoming a servant of God. That does entail a new life but it's a life of service, not of better cars and prosperity. Jesus said to not store up your treasures on earth, rather do so in Heaven.
