how are you doing wth it now? i've had my swabs come back negative THREE times and still got it again. i dont know if i have the worlds worst luck or what, but i keep getting it. the 1st time i got it in a community setting and the second two it came from the hospital, im assuming. im wondering if some people are more prone to it than others. i use the hippa cleanse red wash and did the nasal ointment and the antibiotics...im lost with what more i can do!

There seems to be no sure cure, just symptom relief. Try manuka soap, tea tree oil, probotics, and multi vitamins to boost your immue systems. Antibotics actualy are only temporary relief, as they weaken your immube system, and allow mrsa to reinfect you. I've had it several times since last May. I can only relieve the symptoms at this point.
After two years I finally got a doctor to give me Vancomycin via an IV drip. Added to that was Clyndomycin and Bactrum--all large doses. Also prescribed was an antibiotic cream swabbed inside the nose. This has worked--it's been one month and no outbreaks.

Tell me if it works. I've had MRSA for a year and a half and the last doctor I went to refused to help, saying prescribing any further antibiotics would only harm me, that I'd have to live with it. So pain, infection, fever...all that has become a part of my life. Perhaps I should seek a second opinion, for they didn't try the treatment they're giving you.
