The same as the previous video but the final FLV was processed with a clever-or-not timelapse filter which seems to take an average of the scene and smooth wrap the image with its moving parts.
On painting videos what this does is "Ghostify" the artists hand so that the picture grows in high contrast while the artist floats about as if a Ghost.
I dont know if I like it or not.
Its sort of the melding process of early webcams when they did timelapse.
Chinese bird and flower painting. Or, in my case, Raggedy bird and flowers. Hah!

Three Raggedy Parrots w Ghost Timelapse Processing.

  • Following your recreations, every tracing , the colours and shapes of parrots were formed gradually ...

When your birds were born, you know more about yourself. I think you're full of joy and with a lovely heart. ^^~~

  • Hello. Well, the feel of a brush in my hand is not quite as alien as it used to feel.

im glad they bring a smile. They do to me also. :)

  • Words never truly express what comes from the heart. In your paintings is where i can quite clearly see your heart and the heart of all beings.

That is the essence of zen.

    We are all one.

  • I enjoyed painting these alot. I dont plan my paintings because I have many things to learn as fluents but these were cute. I have a Calander with a parrot on. I was looking online and didnt find one of these chubby parrots. :o) And one was behind me always.

So I looked at it. These are that parrot. Heh.

    Thanks for your words.

How is the new site coming along? Ill look again today.

    best wishes always...

  • I'm getting a wonderful education watching your many videos. Are you using watercolor, gouache, acrylic? It appears opaque.....(I use gouache so I'm v partial to opacity in my watermedia.). Paint on, my friend......awesome!

  • No, I think you're correct. I use Turbine Video Encoder. I make an AVI, then feed that through Turbine Video Encoder by Pacific Software. What this does is allow me to compress it into an FLV. But inside Turbine there are about 100 different beautiufl effects.

But this one Ghostly one I thought might work. It actually irritates because the mind wants to see the Sharp image when it stops. :o)

I think GHOSTS are NOT allowed in my paintings. :)

  • When I saw your images changing , as you described, ' Ghost ' , and I've got a strong feeling about live and die ... one of you just gone and a new you alive, repeating these relationship without any stopped. So ... no one know what would be happened the next moment ...

Enjoy our life, love and be loved

    Thank you ~~ you're so lovely ^^~~

  • Its a bit like what it feels like for me also.

As soon as I see the forehead appear, I see the bird but until that point I struggle even now.

it is slowly becoming easier but in truth, I find it incredibly difficult to see before I paint it.

Its all new to me. Have a pleasant day and I hope you're inspired.
