Although the correct description "mobile markerless tracking algorithm optimized for dual-core chips" sounds very complex, the demo shows how easy life can be with AR. For example by getting virtual service instructions of a printer embedded into the live video.

In this case a normal Video does the same work! You need three hands to chenge the toner.

you might be right "in this case", but keep in mind that this is a demo. we just want to open up people´s minds for this branch of use cases. Of course ´we could have created a more complex scenario, but we had to transport in our hand luggage to Barcelona, so a car, a ship´s diesel or all these things we are already working on were hard to manage... And by the way: of course you can trigger a video as well, but that´s the same interface. Point your phone onto it and there you are!

@creatiefurk @skol101 I am repeating myself (see previous comment) but of course we could have created a more complex scenario, but we had to transport in our hand luggage to Barcelona, so a car, a ship´s diesel or all these things we are already working on were hard to manage... Just start getting creative. You have to shift your mind and see this as the beginning and not like a locked in and ready made solution. Compare it to the internet in 1995.

Hi, this is excelent. It really opens a lot of new possibilities related to creating new mobile applications. And I have a question! It seemed that you were matching a wire model of the printer, how did you do that? I mean, I was wondering if you are optimizing your system with some model based techniques, or just did a model offline of the printer and are only rendering it as you find the camera pose. Thanks, in advance!

Or the printer could send you a PDF manual to your phone once you scan it with Junaio. That might not *look* as good, but might be a better use case.
