how about the mr jack live solo?, i love it but i cant find the tabs and there are only a few people that play it in youtube. i think it is a good idea

yes dropping the lowest string. dropped c refers to the dropping of d standard. you should have known that though if your trying to sound so smart. when reading a guitar tab for example if it says drop c i dont think to myself, oh okay this is just standard tuning with the e-c. know your shit before you talk it, kid.

Try add on some pull on/off, slide, bend, vibrate the strings a bit more. And then smack some more distortion on your guitar:)This gets a bit boring.

Daron changed the tuning in 2005 beliving that it would sound more 'attacky' but still have that heavy sound... it did =)

i dont think a couple songs are drop d, i think they all are drop c with the first 3 albums and all songs are drop c sharp after STA. im pretty sure

Their last 2 albums are drop C, a couple songs are drop D, a couple songs from their first albums are drop C.

their 1st 3 albums i think are Drop D all one step down (CGCFAD) and thier last two albums are drop d (DADGBE) I tihnk. feel free to reply
