I think that is impossible to explain to people like you why they remkae some movie.
Oh yeah, you will say "it's for the money!" - but everyone do something for something.
Take you, for example. You say these things only to give yourself "an attitude": it's cool to say "fuck hollywood, fuckin' thiefs!"" or not?
By the way, i loved the original movie, but there is no reason to hate a new version that possibly will be seen by more people.

The music in some of his ballads truly reminds me of a Johnny Cash incarnate. Something about Morrissey in his delivery. Keeps true to the ruggedness of Cash and brings his own flavor to the issues of our humanness and needs. In age, resembles him???

@salamigeist It wasnt a remake, it was more of an adaption of the book. Yes there is a difference. And it was pretty good imo.
