I love listening to originals by the artists who wrote them. Sometimes the message is lost in someone elses' translation. Don't stop with the guitar. Just practice. Don't let anyone change your strumming, it's your song, your timing, your originality. I too have been criticised, but I didn't change.

You have a truly captivating voice. Beautiful. You are coming along in your guitar playing, but perhaps focus on strumming rhythms while singing. I've been playing and singing for a little while too so I can relate to how hard it can be to get the hang of. Still, keep up the great work. I enjoyed listening to you
