Abbigail Eva Jewell 35 week preemie "our journey"

When I found out I was pregnant it was a complete shock the doctors had told me it was a UTI causing all my symptoms for almost a month.I knew it would be a girl and I knew her name would be Abbigail.So my pregnancy progressed and I made it thru the vomiting,fatigue,aches and pains and we watched her grow in every ultrasound everything was perfect I thought IO had plenty of time to get ready for her with a due dat of march 2,2011.But in Jan I was put on bedrest at home for 2 weeks while trying to raise my fluid up .They had found I had very low fluid during a routine ultrasound it was a 5.It had went up some by my follow up visit but not enough and the baby was not responding as well as thy wanted.So I was sent to the hospital where My family and I went thru a very emotional and rough time.The fluid kept dropping over the weeks and finally the doctors had to make a decision to take the baby at 35 weeks.We were all happy we made it that far but it still was not without risk.My abbigail was born 1-27-11 5 weeks early at 10:34am and had some trouble breathing at first but transitioned over night.I knew she would be ok we had made it this far and she was a tough baby girl.She is now almost 6 weeks old and the most amazing thing to me.I dont know what I would do without her now she is my angel.We were so blessed she was born healthy.

Thanks! she is 2 months and 3 weeks now and doing wonderful! she's gaining weight and hitting her milestones as she should.
