Damon has black eyes in the book and in the show he has blue eyes and alot of people like Ian somerhalder as Damon so why should they be a problem if Nina doesn't have blonde hair people still like her just the way she is.

Personally, i love the changes they made. When i compare them, i prefer the show over the book.

@Ashley1787Official the movie/show is usually different than the book. Nina Dobrev probably portrayed Elena better than the other actressed that could've been blonde. It's not stupid. Everything doesnt have to be the same. Some of the problems in the show are not even in the book. Is that stupid? ;)

@Ashley1787Official the book was written first and the TV series was based on it. They changed tons of things in the series. even stefan is meant to have curly black hair.
