What eats me up isn't that this song is about God. What eats me up is when people say "this is God's work," or "God gave these men a wonderful gift." When you say that, you are disrespecting all the grueling hours of practice and rehearsal that these guys put into their art. Their talent isn't a gift that they received. It's something they earned through a lot of hard work. All I'm saying is give credit where credit is due, and the credit goes to Extreme. Not God.

@SirKickz Really? You just had to respond to a comment I made about God 6 months ago on this page, and it's on page 4. It just eats you up so much that this song is about God and His amazing works that you have the nerve to take the time to attack me on Youtube. Some people...........

I'm right with ya on that one.

Actually this is pretty much a blues song, and well known fact: The blues come from the devil. Also, 4 talented, hard working musicians. Instead of giving God credit for this wonderful music, why not pay your respects for the people who were actually responsible for giving us a chance to listen to this amazing song: Gary, Nuno, and the others?

I believe they're singing to the man we have to accept to go to heaven which is Jesus. Way to go Extreme!!!

If this song doesn't get you singing or moving, you're dead.

@24luva - yeah, this song that was released in 1991 is a complete rip-off of a song by a band that wasn't even formed until 1995. :)
