This olympic flame thing is a sickening display.Nobody wants it now,but politics and trade comes first.Boycott everything to do with china and the olympics.Read the list of sponsors and boycott them, drink a different brand, wear a different sports shoe and so on.Dont say,how can I make a difference,I'm only one person. We are all only one person.I used to love the olympics, but now I am adamant I will not watch a single event. They are even bringing the FLAME OF SHAME through Tibet.Triumphalism.

China occupied/colonized Vietnam for 1,200 years, yet the Vietnamese got independence in 998AD...
China occupied/colonized Tibet for 400 years, so maybe Tibet has still a chance for independence. Probably during a revolution/civil war/famine/external invasion, etc... etc...

The Olympics should be about sport, not about a group of scowling security goons parading a ridulous torch around the streets of foreign cities.
The athletes are welcome to their games. Good luck to them.
But if the chinese government are foolish enough to want to hold a parade in my city, well then I will boo them.
Sunday was nothing to do with sport, and nothnig to to with the Olympics: it was simply opportunity to protest the Chinese Govt.
That's why I was protesting.
