the fire was caused by a car battery on a 1929 Model T Ford. The towns that worked the fire, Lodi, Rochelle Park, Maywood, Saddle Brook, Wallington, Wood Ridge, Garfield. Other towns in the area provided coverage for Lodi. Teaneck box 54 came for fire rehab, and the Hackensack Fire Dept supplied the use of their Air Truck to refill Scott Bottles.

i operated on scene the cause was an exploding car battery which engulfed the garage and rapidly traveled up the front to the 2nd floor. towns that operated on scene was wallington maywood saddle brook and teaneck (box 54 rehab)
