I went shark fishing at the poles down bobhall an ran into a bull larger than my frenzy kayak it was a good 10 foot an it took my bait an the fight was on but it got away :(

@HarlingenCardinals Yeah, you can fight them forever on light line, but that stresses the fish, increasing the chances of it dying as a result of your "need to feel like a man".

@Ripper0518 Yeah I meant to say kayaking -__- I usually only take em out like 200 yds. But I'm getting a new reel sometime soon hopefully with more line lol

@acdcgreat when u are shark fishing from shore u normally dont cast u take it out with a kayak

How far are ya'll casting baits out? I'm starting to get into shark fishing, but I'm not catching any near this size. Any tips would be helpful.
