Ron Paul undergoes a barrage of attack questions on Meet the Press with Tim Russert but of course handles himself well. In part 4, Ron Paul even manages to talk explicitly about corporatism and how America is sliding into fascism.

  • tim russert is being paid to make ron paul look bad on tv and its not working at all.

  • This is a ridiculous interview. Tim Russert is such a petty man. He tried to make Ron Paul look bad by mentioning distorted reports about what Ron Paul said or did, or that others working for him did 10-15 years ago. WHAT A JOKE!

The mainstream media is really scared of Ron Paul. Look how desperate they are to dig up dirt on him. This is great! Nothing can stop the truth. Not even the establishment media like Fox, CNN, NBC, ABC, etc.

  • ron paul is the ultimate hypocrite

  • Interviews like this remind me why I'm not sorry Tim Russert is dead.

  • he has to make a choice between the money going to earmarks to his district or the money going to the federal government to do all sorts of illegal and/or immoral things.

  • Ron Paul loads on earmarks, then does not vote for them.....Ron get my high marks for using King Solomon's wisdom, what other politician does this.

  • What is this unspecified 'much more to history' you speak of?

  • I don't like Tim Russert anymore. He's just a political player.

  • Paul was definatly right about the Civil war issue, not only did 600,000 Americans die, but because the Union did not compensate the farmers who bought the Slaves, these farmers lost all the capital they had. Mind you that there was not mechanical machinery, so they were not able to tend the farms. This is the REASON they went to war in the first place... just like today, to protect their investments!
