I also think that Annie reminds Coop of Caroline and that he wants to save her 'cause he couldn't save Caroline from being killed by Windom. (Sry for my bad English. I'm german and 14. Still learning English.)

Man, that scene is too sweet for words. Great music. And look at Coop's face at 2:18 - 2:22...wonderful acting...all his feelings and hopes in that moment...maybe a slight insecurity...seem to manifest upon his face.

Same thing for me. Audrey's character was much better. But I think it's logical that Cooper resists Audrey because he knows that Audrey only wants the attention and the love of her father. (He says that she's too young because he doesn't want to hurt her feelings.) Audrey's affection for Cooper is just transmission. Her father always payed more attention to Laura than he did to her. This is propably the reason why she falls for older men. I also think that Annie reminds Coop of Ca

Ugh. I hated Annie's entire character. She's nowhere near as sexy as Audrey. Why the fuck would Cooper choose her over Audrey?
