Miserable old welsh tart, of course london would have more funding because its got 3 times the population of wales (which by the way isnt actually a real country and it is a de facto a part of england since the 1300s) and its our nations frigging capital.

A Sterling demolition job on Paxo. His style of 'interview' benefits and informs nobody. Paxman is a pompous asshole, claiming to have done his homework, but could not even the read the percentage for Wales that was in front of him, right under his nose.

@Sanmi4real I like people who are straight. Paxman doesn't make policies, he doesn't proselytize or dance around subjects to seek popularity. He does his job & he does it damned well. Because of that he's earned my respect. There's no blood on his hands & when you do get "owned" by Paxman it's because you're a cheat. In this instance the guy was upfront, honest & came out smelling of roses. This isn't a popularity contest, it's a grilling and for good reason.

The point of Paxman's style of interveiw is not to win the arguement. It's to test whether or not that arguement is sound & trustworthy. I hate it when I read comments stating that "Paxman got owned". He does a public service grilling politicians & bankers. I don't care what you think of his character. Thanks to people like him we are better informed and can tell the facts from the bullshit!
