Leone directed 'Il colosso di Rodi' - his first full credit as director. C'mon, guys - a bit of research wouldn't go astray!

Thus, Leone directed 7 films in total (where he receives full credit as director), and 5 of those can be deemed 'Westerns'. C'mon, Edwin!

Even though the three protagonists were labelled Good, Bad and Ugly, they all exhibited elements of those qualities, i.e. as most people do. For example, even though Blondie is labelled "good", isn't he also "bad" and sometimes "ugly? He was making his living by turning in and then helping to escape a wanted criminal - isn't that "bad"? And then, at times, he kills with no hesitation or consideration - surely "ugly". The same can be seen in Angel Eyes and Tuco.

Definitely stick with the 161 min US cut of GBU. It was Leone's approved version and the pacing is superb. The MGM special edition is an absolute hack job. (especially the remixed 5.1!)

And Once Upon a Time...The Revolution (Fistful of Dynamite) is a masterpiece. Just as good if not better than OUATITW.
