Same tone and message as heard in the first Wheelock vid, but this time w/ my Simplex 4903-9168 speaker/strobe.

  • Is it just me, or does the Simplex Code-3 tone seem to sound a bit higher pitched when coming from a regular amplifier to the speaker instead of coming from a real Simplex voice-evac panel?

  • I can't tell, but all I know is regardless of the system, it's supposed to be 500hz.

  • Whats up with the new tone???

  • Just decided to try something new.

  • U made it or Simpex did?????

  • NewAgeServer edited the message itself, and I edited the whole thing to what you hear (I added the sound effects and made the message repeat 3x).

  • Sounds like the driver is a little, old.

  • I like this tone.

  • Right. But what I am saying is, I guess the tone sounds a little different when played on or from a computer than a Simplex panel. The voice-evac message also sounds a little lower-pitched in some videos I've seen, so I guess it has something to do with the sound output thingy for Simplex voice panels; not the actual tone/voice clips.

  • whats going on? im going to go use the elevator, and walk to the furthest exit. i think, i didnt get it the first 12 times hahahahaha

i love making fun of announcements like this, no offense to anyone
