When the book of longevity on contemporary jazz has been written, this group will be at the of the list. For over 35 consecutive years, Spyro Gyra had passed through the test of time, giving us their unique fusion and infectious groove.
Without a doubt Spyro Gyra is the most successful jazz band on today's contemporary world of music.
Back in in year 1999, I had the privilege to see them live, just right at the front line seats of the legendary BET Studio 2, here in Washington, DC.
