Detailed review of the Nikon D3 DSLR. This is not necessarily a full on review, but more of an overlook of my favorite features of the camera, my opinions of the D3 and a comparison between it and other cameras like the nikon d300 and nikon d700.

  • the photos behind you: are yours?

    :)

  • @jamdvx yes, those are some of my fist photos, taken with my first camera the nikon d80.

  • I really envy you. I too have the Nikon D300 and not really happy with the results from the smaller sensor. Being based in the UK although the D3 is almost twice the price of the D700, I feel that if I were to get the D700, I would feel that I'd wanna upgrade further later on. Like you said, the 95% coverage and slower shutter speeds just don't cut it. For the price of a new D700 I would expect it to do no less than 8 frames per second, not 5. Just one question. Why did you ditch your DX lenses?

  • @amazingmoose69 Because I think it is pointless to use dx lenses on a fx camera. I want to be able to use the full sensor when I shoot

  • where can you sell cameras and lenses?

  • @NeighborThunder i sell mine on ebay

  • I'm not being funny but you must get a fucking haircut. I have no idea how you

went from kind good looking to this!

  • how old are you ?

  • Your videos are great.... Very informative. I also checked out your site; simply excellent.

  • You are about the only person who reviews camera stuff that isn't materialistic. Thats appreciated, good work haha.

  • I've had my D3 for nearly 2 years and have had lots of frustrations with it including the battery icon telling me that the fully charged battery is exhausted. I have to continually turn the camera off and on to take picures....I have one lens which never comes off, but sensor dust has been an expensive nightmare...the latest frustration has been the viewfinder information telling me on aperture priority that the exposure is 2000/s and won't take the picture......I'd never have another.....

  • @amazingmoose69 Not really happy with the results? lol go back in time n see what photographers in the old days used and make amazing photographs. You think having a best gear will make your images say WOW! I don't think so... these are just tools, be happy with what you have you spoiled brat cuz that is what you are and anyone who can afford a nikon d300. In other countries people still using film and only dream on getting their hands on these cameras.
