''Evening Prayer'' (Abendsegen) from ''Hansel and Gretel'' Theremin & Organ (Hauptwerk)

Fast becoming a standard of the theremin repertoire, this beautiful piece was introduced to me by the videos of Thomas Grillo and Thereminstrel - thanks to both.

The organ accompaniment is recorded on my Hauptwerk virtual organ system ( http://www.hauptwerk.com )

I continue to discover new sonorities in my Etherwave standard. The first verse here illustrates the original two-part setting of the song from the opera. The second verse explores the beautiful cello-like tone of the Etherwave.

Absolutely fantastic! Really very beautiful. Great to hear the two-part harmony of the orignal .. and the organ accompaniment works splendidly.

Interesting that three very different theremin versions of this have appeared in just a few weeks. I think this might just be my favourite!
