Quaker Parrot Loves Her Snugglie

Thanks to another youtuber showing us how we can make snugglies out of our old t-shirts, Keiko just loves her new snugglie.

I just cut up an old shirt (thoroughly washed) into strips and knotted it onto a plastic ring to hang it on Keiko's 'daytime stand'. She has another one in her cage.

@Lamsy123 Actually very easy. You can get an old t-shirt or any kind of material, as long as it doesn't fray and leave lots of strings. Cut it into strips and tie all the strips onto a ring. All my birds love them.

Does the name Keiko mean anything?

I'm getting a parakeet and I'm just trying to think of good names.

Actually yes, it means 'BLESSING'. I got her around Christmas. Sometimes, I just get in the mood to look names and their meanings up and sometimes I just pick any old name - like Charlie for my other Quaker. But Keiko was a real blessing. I think it's african or something, offhand I can't remember origin.

Yeah, right, like I don't get enough of those requests - Hand Knitted garments are reserved for my hubby, kids and grandkids.

At least so far - lol. No really, they would get their toes stuck and it wouldn't be pretty.

Keiko is a great name, like the orca Keiko . I thought the name was pronounced Kayko xD

Adorable!!! Please understand that when they are in their "snuggies" et al they want "private time" and hopefully this is respected with the exception of this cute "moment"? They have their needs, including "private" time, as well.
