I bought what looked to be a nice Alaskan cod filet at my local Winn Dixie here in St. Augustine, Florida. As soon as it hit the pan, this is exactly what happened.... flavorless, mush that would not even brown in a pan. Nasty.... Sadly the second type of fish I found that was treat with TPP.

This is true. I didn't know about this until I did some consulting work for a fish farm/packer. Lucky this one doesn't use STPP which is VERY RARE in fish industry. There are not milky stuff like shown on the video. Ask your super market to get STPP-free seafood. Siyuanfood dotcom owns farm and processing center.
