  • If you wanted an advocate for students with disabilities, that America should have elected John McCain and Sarah Palin. As Vice President, Sarah would have made children with special needs a top priority. During a a policy speech in October, she put forth her plan for funding and developing programs for students with disabilities...yet the media chose to discuss her wardrobe instead...

  • Arne's so-called,"free-market", anti-teacher union, anti-local school council Chicago school plan HAS NOT raised district grades as it allows lower achieving schools to get worse!Research shows this corporate school approach increases the student drop-out rate & segregation. It is a fact that parents need 2B involved more & not less. Also, IL teachers need more training & schools need more resources & infrastructure repair, but Duncan does little or nothing.

  • WHAT ABOUT STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES? They are being left behind while Mr. Duncan promotes the creation of a L.esbian G.ay B.isexual T.ranssexual student high school, and then having students paid for good grades! My child can't even get bus service as required in his I.E.P. My child's Special Ed. program for Autism was dumped and transferred to another school not capable of handling the program. Why is there no "HOT LINE" so parents can have their questions answered?
