MTV names the Woman of the Year!  Who do you think took home the win?
 
Hey everyone!  You're back at Clevver TV.  I'm Dana Ward with the MTV Woman of the Year!
 
Quite slowly, the music channel revealed the top contenders one-by-one, counting down until the winner got announced.  Starting with number-9, the Kardashian sisters got the spot all together thanks to their highly popular reality show focusing on their celeb-driven lives.  Then the UK reality singing star, Susan Boyle won number-8.  Next up, at 7, Kristen Stewart earned it due to her incredible fan following and performance in the record-breaking Twilight Saga.  It was a true and tested MTV favorite, Britney Spears and her total turn-around - we're talking about her Circus tour and music video success, those all got her six, even though her last single was titled '3'.  Another Mickey Mouser, Miley Cyrus is up next.  At 5, she had a number-1 movie, multiple hit songs and a bunch of controversy to please gossip mongers.  With her 'Single Ladies' anthem and a ton of Billboard toppers and VMA awards, Beyonce was a sure fire hit at number-4.  The next girl on the Woman of the Year countdown by MTV, Rihanna powered through 2009 by bouncing back with a strong album debut.  Now the number-2 gal may surprise you, simply because she has been holding tight onto the industry's number-1 reigns and she had that infamous head-to-head with Kanye AT the MTV VMAs, Taylor Swift is the runner-up for 2009.  So now that we've revealed the top Women of the Year, who do you think earned the number-1 spot??? Why the hell are the Kardashians even on this list? They have no talent and are famous for being famous. I thought celebrities were people who had talent and we praised them for it. I guess that has gone to the rocks. There are so many other celebrity women who should be on this list, some of the people on this list have no talent at all.
