my position is :

No foreign aid of any kind what so ever.

No cronyism or gangs of countries which are created through negotiations between the richest who often orchestrate wars for the poorest to fight.

"terrorism" cannot be simplified into the idea that "muslims hate us for our freedom", it is a reaction to western and Isreali foreign policy mentioned above.

@redreaper2020 One of us isn't understanding the other. I'm saying that if the Israelis didn't have one of the one of the most advanced militaries in the world you can be certain that they would resort to the same types of desperation tactics as the Palestinians. I don't see much of a difference between children killed by suicide bombers and children killed as 'collateral damage' by a hellfire missile hitting an apartment building. Both are choosing targets where they know innocent people die.

@degen83 I have Jewish friends here in Canada, I care about them as people, but your right in terms of religious affiliation, I dont care if someone is a Jew or Muslim or whatever, if they are not a good human being. I want to end all ties between my country and other countries that commit horrible deeds. We have no "ties" to Arab countries since we are always bombing them and inciting hatred, we do have tiers to Israel who are also a provoking force. I do not care what happens over there.

You and people like you only care when Israel retaliates and kills terrorists causing collateral damage of property and other people. The root cause of such attacks is Arab and Palestinean terror attacks on Israel. End all terrorism on Israel, and Israel will end all attacks on Arabs and Palestineans. Simple.

@aristurtle1 The truth of the matter is the Palestineans do not want peace, they want death to all Jews so they can have land that was never theirs but they were taught and lied to that it was theres to the point that they believe the lie. They are taught to die for the lie. They are taught to murder Jews so they can go to heaven.

The Jews have been attacked since 1917 from the Arabs. It was Arabs who started the war, and Arabs refuse to end it by living in peace.

@aristurtle1 There are partnerships in place currently between the US and Israel. Israel makes military equipment, some of the best in the world and even the US buys its equipment. Israels enemies get money and aid, and "aid" in guns instead of humanatarian aid. If aid gets cut to Israel, the same private benefactors will still fund and give/sell weapons to Palestineans for terrorism. Your view will only accomplish more dead Jews, not less, and no closer to peace.

@degen83 If you look at the position put forth by everyone in mainstream media and mainstrem politics it is always pro Israel. Even look at the questions Ron Paul is asked at debates about cutting foreign aid, when Wolf Blitzer gasps "even to Israel???"

what makes Israel so much more special than every other country, that cutting foreign aid to them would cause such a stir in the corporate sphere? Why not support Thailand or Africa?

I think we both know it is coprporate financial reasons.

@aristurtle1 Utter lies and slander. The only reason some anti Arab sentiment exists is the unfair treatment by Arabs on Jews, and even despite that there is less animocity against Arabs by Jews in Israel than there is against Jews in Arab countries.

You must not direct all your hate towards pro Israel groups, it is not them who are begging for your support, it is the Palestinean terrorists who have adopted a media campaign to place their own citizens in harms way to make Israel look bad.
