This is, officially, "Tribeca's Booker T and the MC's," a pedigreed Maine Coon champion (he hated showing, so we never 'granded' him), affectionally known as Bookie. He's always loved sitting in the big sink to drink the water drops from the faucet -- like many other cats. He's always put his own spin on it, by placing his outstretched paw onto the divider, waiting for a drop to fall on his arm, and licking it off. If there wasn't any dripping water, he's sit there patiently, looking at me, and cocked his head to the side with his eyes begging, "Make it drip, Mommy!" Which I did, and do. Now he's added a new twist to this drinking behavior -- he found that the small sink is very comfortable, and he can rest AND drink at the same time! Go Bookie! An endlessly amusing cat!

  • DAMN thats a pretty cat. pushes short hair domestic cat off the bed* I WANT ONE!

  • @Jelloxox -- Hahahahaha! Yeah, Maine Coons are incredibly pretty! But they are different fom other cats in other ways too, as a breed. Bigger on the whole, they are known to be 'Gentle Giants." For all their size & weight, they have tiny little voices, and are more likely to coo & trill than utter an actual, "meow." And unlike DSH's, who stop playing when kittenhood is at an end, MC's play all of their lives. They are awesome!

  • dont be suprised to find a hairball the size of a tennis ball

  • @IOWNA11 - Oh yeah, hair balls are a constant part of my life.

  • first rating! haha cool vid to. how come theres no sound?

  • Took it with my digital picture camera, which requires you to turn on the sound, first. I didn't know how long he would continue doing this, so I just grabbed it and shot. Ergo, no sound. Sorry!

  • Cute. ;) Kitty makes good use of drippy faucet.

  • This is so cute. I have a Maine Coon too, but he is not so relaxed.

  • I have a maincoon too. they are so pretty!

  • I base it on common sense, but you have fun with your own useless definition of it.
