  • why you dublicate gdv logo???

  • @Amore96

The bottom layer works as mask to hide the light streak. Without it, the yellow highlight would appear over top of the background instead of just being inside the text.

  • Hi,

It may be the anti-aliasing that Photoshop is applying to your shape. This is just a guess. If it's not a perfect b/w matte than it's not going to look correct.

Try using Travel Matte - Alpha instead. This will require that you completely remove the white background. Save your image with a transparent background instead.

  • Thank you soo much for this great tutorial! I am interested in taking classes with you guys! ;) I have a question... Is it possible to create a text behind a subject? like for example can I have a person looking into the camera and have a huge text behind his head covering some of the letters? help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

  • my graphic is over white. I end up with jagged black lines around the outside edge when do this. Any idea what's causing this? It's not text, it's a photoshop file.
