I disliked this vid.3D sonic games can work(examples Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2).Dont get me wrong my favorites are the Classics but its bullshit to think that just becuz its in 2D its gonna be good cuz its not i mean just look at Sonic Rush Series that sucks all you do is run with no platforming or exploration(The classics had Exploration).And look at Sonic 4 that sucked too Horrible Physics,Horrible Level Design etc.

We all know The Genesis Games had alot of exploration and lots of alternate paths you can take ESPECIALLY SONIC 3 AND KNUCKLES the levels were so LARGE.YOU KNOW NOTHING.

@icetray123 I agree i love the Adventure Formula(hate the Unleashed one) though i do prefer the classics more cuz you dont know what you can do and how much fun you can have in them when you master the physics.

Both 2D and 3D are good none should be dismissed.Sega has to get 3D right though(Dump Unleashed Formula and Improve upon Adventure Formula)

The problem is that there are too many gimmicks in the new games. Sonic recently just focused on gimmicks and speed. The reason why the gimmicks are there is that it makes the games long. example: they add more playable characters, turn sonic into a werehog, arm him with a sword, etc. I guess you can say that sega adds gimmicks to make the games longer. And since sonic is so fast the levels have to be long. That creates a lot of work for developers though. But I'm not making an excuse though.

im a hardcore mario games but nintendo were lazy on some games so i dont buy them all, i even was not impressed with super mario galaxy

the only sonic 3d game ever was sonic heroes (i also liked sonic R and the sonic rider series) but the other sonic 3d games were garbage

If anyone played sonic unleashed the side scrolling parts of the stages were terrible. The only good 3D games were sonic adventure 1 and 2. Now that there is wii ware sega should make a retro sonic game like capcom did wit mega man 9 and 10

people who deny sonic's new found failure rate are likely children, who dont care, let alone have any reason to care, about the actual gameplay.
