  • Hi can the cream be washed off with water as well?. I have dry skin but i bought the refreshing cold cream for oily/combination skin beicause i dont want my face to be oily afterwards and biecause i have some acne. Do u think this will work.

    Please respond back

  • @pinksaphire100 Yup! I do that sometimes too. You can get super cheap wash cloths from Walmart, just soak them with warm water and gently buff it off. It exfoliates and removes makeup. :)

  • I've found that using cold cream to remove makeup will actually subdue your skin's urge to make oil. I was having an issue with blackheads in the corner of the nose with some dryness as well. I used the cold cream as a cleanser, using a warm washcloth to gently remove it. Amazing improvement.

  • My great grandmother started using pond's when she was 16. When she was 96 she had not one wrinkle on her face.

  • i use it as face lotion in the morning and apply it to my cheak bones and any dry areas i have like my chin. i love it!!! it makes me look more awake since my face is really dry in the morning

  • it is not good to put chemicals in your eyes

  • Can it just remove mascara without makeup remover? so do i just put it on my eyemakeup?

  • Ponds has a new formula for their cold cream that doesn't work as well. If you look for the store brands of cold cream such as CVS, Family Dollar, Equate, Up & Up, etc, it's the same formula as the old formula.

  • @DanaInWonderland93 Yeah if u washes your face wif cleanser after using makeup remover wipes, its totally fine. Sumtimes when im tired, i jus use makeup remover wipes, then wipe wif toner and im done. Not recommended if u use heavy makeup of cos.

Btw I recently found that u shud uses makeup remover wipes containing oil to cleanse thoroughly. Especially if u use waterproof sunblock. Makeup remover wipes that don't contain oil can't do the job properly.

  • But although cleansing oil is better, I think this is great way to cleanse skin when ur comes home late and tired and u want to quickly clean face in a non-messy way. Maybe if u do it properly, useing the cold cream once instead of double-cleansing will be enuff.

However cold cream may leave residue on skin, which prevents absorbtion of serum/moisturiser u apply next

  • It kinda sucks that u needs 2 use the cold cream twice, then still wash wif another cleanser, and then using cold cream again to remove eye makeup. :(

I recommends highly trying cleansing oil instead. Asian ladies almost all use cleansing oils these days, cos it's gentle and THE MOST thorough way of removing makeup/sunblock, and i know i maybe bias, but asian girls haf the best skin of all from whad iv seen. And wif cleansing oil, u uses it once and ure done, but its a little messy.

  • Thanks so much for the review. I just purchased this from Walmart.com (free shipping, love it!) because of this video. I'm excited to try it!

Love the Daft Punk background music btw. :)

  • Noxzema works the same way its also been around for along time as well :) and also Noxzema smells great too. :)
