Message from WGC: Some people are wondering why we don't show or play clips of Melinda singing. First of all, since this song is a "cover" tune, meaning we didn't write it ourselves, we would have had to obtain a sync license from the publisher and copyright holder before we could legally put the lyric version with video. That would not be worth the hassle, you can just go to our website mentioned above and hear it. Secondly, we did take video of Melinda performing that day, however we do not want to take advantage of our relationship with her and show something without her permission. Grrrr.... already heard the song "Mas Que Nada" on Worldwide Groove Corporation website... I was just furious to hear Melinda was pushed into the background again in the song like when she was still an unknown backing vocal...!! You can say Melinda looks like Shrek, Donkey, or any worse things you can say about her, but she is NOT a backup singer!! She deserved to be put on the center stage and sing her heart out to us mortals like a true DIVA she meant to be....

Easy, turbo, let us explain. We had intended to have Melinda sing a solo of the song "Whatever Lola Wants" and had her scheduled to come over and record the lead on that. She called us the night before the session to let us know that she was already under contract with American Idol [this was literally a week before she left for Hollywood], and was not legally free to do ANY lead vocal work. If we had her sing any lead vocals, A.I. would have kept us from releasing our record. Seriously!

Exactly! She should have won, but once again America got it wrong. Not point in watching the show anymore...it's all a popularity contest and has no longer become about the singing.

Melinda is the bomb and we all know that, but I just want to take a chance to say that I am listening to the songs off of Chillodesiac Vol. 1 and I am blown away! This will be part of my summer soundtrack this year!!!
