I first read the book Ishmael when I was 19. My whole life changed course when I was 19. When I was 19 I believed so deeply in my heart that I could change the world.

These 19 tracks pay reflect the unbridled passion and confidence I had when I was 19 and taking on the world.
and they are FREE for anyone who once was 19
or will be...

They are part of the 57-song, 4 disc & 1 DVD short film I released in 2008 as my concept album "Seasons." I have chosen to give them away on April 22nd, 2010 as part of my "Earth Day/All Day/Every Day" Campaign. These anthems have been selected because they reflect the spirit of what Earth Day is supposed to symbolize and yet at the same time they also express the intense concern I feel for the way of life and cultural vision that has made such a day even necessary. After all, it should be Earth Day all day. Every day.

(The following is the Official Press Release for The Earth Day. All Day. Every Day. Project")

LOCAL MUSICIAN CULTIVATES EARTH DAY INTEREST
Victoria BC-based Scott Valentine Delivers Free Music with a Twist

April 7, 2010 - Victoria, BC On Earth Day, April 22, Victoria singer/songwriter Scott Valentine is hitting the streets of Vancouver with a new tuneliterally.

The homegrown singer/songwriter was moved to action by the insufficient spotlight today's environmental issues receive. Valentine will be at high-exposure downtown Vancouver locations on Earth Day, promoting his second single, Green The New Black (as heard on 104.3 Shore FM) by handing out 1,000 drop cards, each with a unique PIN providing the recipient with a free download of what Valentine hopes will be eventually recognized as the Official Earth Day Anthem.

But there's a unique twist These drop cards are made from 100% post-consumer junk mail and embedded with wildflower seeds. After each card has been redeemed it can be planted under a thin layer of soil and it will blossom into a wildflower!

It should be Earth Day, all day, every day, says Valentine. I believe this song will plant that seed of awareness. These drop cards are a pretty cool way of celebrating that."
